Chuck Kourouklis
The lower border of the side window intake is an exaggerated bevel where it joins the rear fender. Bit o' putty, swipes of a file maybe. What'll take much more finesse to correct is the way the front fender crimps into the leading edge of the door. That transition is much smoother and more blended on the 1:1, and from some angles, Aoshima's treatment looks like body damage. The side view mirror will cover it from some vantages and generally draw the eye away, but this area will require some careful work if you really want it right. BVC500
Oh my guess was good. I'm a little surprised given that Aoshima probably has the CAD files for the car or scanners.
Chuck Kourouklis
Yup, mystifies me too. I think the Aoshima LP400 is the blue-ship gold-standard most accurately proportioned 1/24 Countach ever done, and I thought there was online literature somewhere that LiDAR was involved.According to knowledgeable others, that area might not have gotten enough attention in the 3D modeling... Rob Hall
Random observation in traffic this afternoon..the current Corolla oddly reminds me strongly of the Huracan in some styling details (some of the front and side creases).
