Coming this summer from from Hasegawa is the late type version of the Sunny,  price is in the mid $20 (depending on exchange rate)

A '70s Datsun 620-series pickup would be neat to see...Revell and MPC did them long ago, would be nice to see reissued...

That would be very nice,  I missed out on those kits and I am not paying the stupid asking prices for them now.

I would like to see a new kit of a 73 to 79 Datsun 620 too. I have several of the MPC kits,and they take a lot of work,and they're short on details. A king cab would be great too.

Can we get some info on whether this would come with an engine and what kind? Didn't they come with the KA24 Nissan engine? (which is the same in the 240sx's and would be really handy for us import builders for a lot of projects)

No engine at all, curbside model, but with potential under the hood.

 

I fitted mine with a straight six KPG-C10 engine

Erik is correct in these kits do not have a engine,  you take a look at the kit and get an idea what its going to be like , the late type is coming from this tooling, the only difference is going to be a different grill and exhaust and

Ah I see now guys. I couldn't see the pics at work. I still love the design, it'll make an awesome shop truck.
