Andy Wyatt Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Finally done with this thing. Not as nice as Irv's but I guess it'll do! Revell Standard Coupe, wheels and tires from the Tom Daniels Cabriolet kit. Paint is HOK Candy Scarlet over Duplicolor Gold. No clear. Axles were narrowed and the stance lowered. Wanted the front a little lower but it's done now. Tri-carb s and intake from the '36 Ford street rod kit. Radiator tubes are fron a discarded radio antenna with heat shrink tubing. Cut slots in the rear fenders for tail lights and backed them with BMF covered sheet colored with a red Sharpie. Reps and Mins dashboard in an otherwise straight forward interior. Thanks for looking.
MonoPed Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Nice wheel choice, great color, and I'm diggin' the tail light treatment - nice work!
MrObsessive Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Looks Fantastic Andy! Are you bringin' it to the picinic tomorrow?? I'll be there with the "not yet finished" Buick.........
Matt T. Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Nice one, Andy! No clear? Wow, that's some great paint slingin'! Great idea on the radiator hoses. Taillights are sweet too. I like it a lot! Gotta get going on my '40 now...
