I just bought and received a beautiful resin kit of the '66 Toronado.  But I am pretty sure I am going to need an accurate Toronado chassis.  Any comments of any kind will be very welcome.

I don't think there's anything on the market today that has anything like a Toronado chassis.

You could try looking for a restorable glue bomb of any year Toro on eBay. But beware: The engine/transmission/front suspension on those kits is VERY fiddly and you're likely to find parts missing, broken, or installed with so much tube glue that they're forever useless. You might be better off looking for a trashed promo (smashed roof or something like that) for a one-piece chassis donor.

If all else fails, you could convert it to rear wheel drive using the chassis from a common '66 or '69 Riviera.

Good luck with your project.

Any year JoHan Caddy Eldorado also has the same chassis and engine. The only difference is some of them had Cadillac script on the valve covers but they were all Olds engines in the kits.

Glue bombs of those Toros don't seem to be that rare, or expensive, but, the front drive train parts can be really fragile, like Snake said, tough to get together. So, make sure the one you get has all those parts present and intact.
