Shorty VW body AMT tooled up to go on the chopped Manx frame. They issued it with both stock VW and (shown here) 40 Ford-ish noses.

I'd like to see R2 bring it back. I'd buy a couple.

Actually I'd really just like to get my hands on a nose and grille, and see if it would fit onto Revell's Beetle convertible kit. Or Polar Lights' coupe. Does anybody know if any resin caster offers something like this hood set up for any of the 1/25 Beetles?
