Jon Cole Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) The Cadillac Saber Spoke wheels, they have them listed for diff. years, but I don't see a year in the photo. So I ordered 1958 Shallow Spoke. Any idea if the '57, '58, and '59 Caddy Saber wheels are the same? Also, for quantity of wheels, does "1" mean one set (pair)? Edited May 16, 2016 by Jon Cole
Aaron_F Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I got through finally. I found out that you might have to delete you web browser history in order to see the updated website. Your computer stores information about sites that you've visited, so the next time it will load faster. Modelhaus re-opened and updated their site , but my computer was still loading the old page.
RestoModGuy Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I'm thankful they are taking last orders before retiring next year, sure will miss them.I've only ordered a few kits and parts from them the past year, but they have the holy-grail kits and parts I've needed to complete important tribute builds of my dad's old cars he owned and I drove as a kid, so grateful they exist for our hobby.Just place my final order today, 4- 1967 Cougar's and 2-sets 68 Cougar grill/bumpers.
Skip Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I emailed, thanking Carol and Don for opening up the site for orders again. Carol said they got totally slammed right off the bat! Sounded like they figured they'd get a huge amount of orders, but were surprised at how huge.
Robberbaron Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Yeah, I was one of those people that kept planning to eventually order from Modelhaus, and was never getting around to it.Figured it was pretty much now or never, so placed my order. Mostly parts to repair some promos and also some repops of original issue parts for stuff like the AMT '65 GTO, '69 Chevelle, and the MPC '67 GTO.
mikemodeler Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 I have gone back and forth over whether or not to place an order. I have wanted their Shasta travel trailer and one of the Dodge pickups, but have to think long and hard before I drop $180 on two resin kits. Not that they aren't worth it, but $180 isn't as easy to come by for me as it was in the past. Besides, I have about 9 or 10 resin kits already that have to be built and adding to the pile is not smart. I will check and see if there is any additional resin pieces I may want that would be more reasonable for my budget. I am glad to say I have been a customer of Don and Carol for nearly 20 years and wish them well in their much deserved and well earned retirement.
