started with a Jimmy Flintstone 28 sedan , added the wood panels opened the roof , and things have taken off from there , saw a picture of one and had to build it , 48 ford dash cut down ,Ford

 V8 from the 57 wagon kit w/ a 3 dues carb set up ,

Pretty cool.

Two points... one, you have nothing connecting the front wheels to the steering wheel. Two... why is this not posted "Under Glass?"

nice job ...looks very similair :)  i do think for sand on the tyres a pigment powder would work so much better .. that could get in the creeses of the thread and not be shiny ..

Wicked! I'm really, really liking the woody treatment. Great work on the woodgraining!
 Your model has all of the attitude of the illustration, and that's quite an achievement.

The wood part is very cool.  Love the whole overall look and the surf boards.  Nice.  I will be looking for it under glass when it is finished.  Some of mine never get finished technically.
