wayne swayze Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Great job making this into a salt flats racer! If your photos were in black and white, it would look like an old cover car on one of those "little" magazines.
TarheelRick Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Mighty fine looking salt car. Looks like it would easily make it into the 200 mph club. Great job on the weathering. I have built one salt car, but it is in need of a redo; it didn't come out like I really wanted. Really love those salty dogs.
Dennis Lacy Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 This is one of the neatest build-ups of the channeled version of this kit I've seen yet. I really like the color scheme, the aggressively cut down windshield, the half tarp and the lakes weathering. The car definitely has "the look."
Tyler62990 Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 Thanks again for the kind words gentlemen.Mighty fine looking salt car. Looks like it would easily make it into the 200 mph club. I use the "snow" one for my salt, but the rust, soot, and metal ones have been useful many times. Useful to the point that they're the only thing I use except for a wash here and there lol
Robberbaron Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Nice build - amazing how much of an improvement you get just by chopping that windshield. I'm surprised more builders don't do it.
V8 Trucker Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 very nicely done, because one wonders what the drives for speed
