Marlowe Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 This is probably one of the most difficult modifications I've ever done but stands as my favorite.
louie Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 To me, that is jaw dropping awesome. I take it that you started with a Diecast kit? Nice, Nice, Nice Job with this one and Thank you for sharing this with us. Jeff

shoopdog Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Marlowe, you have been posting up some incredible builds! Very impressed!
mkucaba Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Very nice work! Actually quite awesome! What did you use to make the cuts? My experience has been that diecast is too hard to work so I backed away from it. Did I say really great work.
Old Coyote Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Amazing work and talent went into that model ................. most impressive
Marlowe Posted June 15, 2016 Author Posted June 15, 2016 Very nice work! Actually quite awesome! What did you use to make the cuts? My experience has been that diecast is too hard to work so I backed away from it. Did I say really great work.I use a Dremel with a carbon wheel to cut the diecast. I have two Dremels so I can alternate as when cutting through the thick sections the tool gets very hot. The thin sections it cuts through like a hot knife through butter.
echo Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Very nice model. Represents a lot of work. Thanks for the work in progress photos.
