I finally got the truck my Dad drove when I was a kid. My Uncle that lives in Fla. Sent me not one...but two of these rare kits that he had put away!....he picked them up at a flea market believe it or not! They are sealed too...unbelievable!....I'm gonna build one and put the other in my stash. Christmas in July!..Thank you Uncle Art!!!

I'd be happy finding one!! You got two! I want one for the same reason truck dad had and I nearly grew up in it. Nice of your uncle to send them to you. I'm waiting for the build!

Yes...I couldn't believe it either. I had mentioned to my Uncle to keep his eye out down there for some old OOP kits for me.He's got a few other truck kits he's gonna be sending me as well.He goes all over to flea markets down there...it's amazing what you can find at those places!

Nice, I built that one a long time ago back in the late 80's and I still have one more in my stash.
Wich version are they?, the rarest are the first issue with Air Ride, the later ones had Walking Beam.

Nice Score!  All I ever find at flea markets are those kits you can't give away at model car shows... only the owner thinks they've got gold and wants a fortune!

Very cool! I have one of these and I'm still undecided on which route to take with it.

Mine is the late '90's reissue. Ironically, that reissue was available for three years, but was a flop at the time. Now, even the late '90's reissues can bring some pretty decent coin. Got mine for about the same price as a current Round 2 big truck kit reissue- I think I made off pretty well on that one.
