Yenkocamaro Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 I took your advice and changed the pipes to cleaner looking ones. I still need to add the rear antenna's, but how does it look now. I only build replica stocks, so a low custom is way out of my comfort zone. Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Big difference, looks great! Hope you like the change as well. Cheers, Lance
David G. Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Excellent color choice, fabulous paintwork! David G.
Harry P. Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 That is so cool! Love the new, cleaner side pipes... a big improvement over what you had. Now dig around your parts box and find twin angled antennas for the rear fenders...
Dragline Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 It still needs something. To be put into a box and sent to my address. Gorgeous. I'm NOT a customs or anything 50's guy but that is superb.
StevenGuthmiller Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I still don't know how that color combo works, but it does! I would have never thought of it in a thousand years! Steve
Porscheman Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 (edited) I still don't know how that color combo works, but it does! I would have never thought of it in a thousand years! Steve Steve, those colors came to me after I was stripping a diecast in an area with very little ventilation with MEK. LOL It was supposed to be yellow and purple, but I grabbed the wrong can of paint. What I thought was clear, turned out to be the clear yellow, which turned the purple into wine. The 60's were good to me!!!! Edited October 7, 2016 by Porscheman

Any time something "turns into wine", I'm thinking that a higher power was involved. You didn't come up with this color scheme at all, did you Al! Steve
MPi-KM Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 That is sweet looking. I really like the how you did the tinted windows.
Janne Herajärvi Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 WoW thats gorgeous! Love that color combo
