MPC One Arm Bandit

These kits are rare and they fetch a lot of money on eBay. Does anybody know what happened to the tooling for that kit?

With all the recent MPC re-releases it would be nice to see that one brought back too.

Id like to see some of the wild crazy kits make a comeback along with the late 60s big bodied car kits they made...would be a plus for us older builders and great for the memories of our childhood days.

Well, they brought back the Jolly Roger, why not this?

Does anybody know what happened to the tooling for that kit?

I'm pretty sure that the basic kit ( frame and running gear, engine ) is the old Wilhelm's Wild Dream kit which became the Ice Cream Truck. That's probably in Round 2's inventory, but I would doubt that the molds for the body and other specific parts are still around.
