I made a discovery looking for something on a dusty shelf, behind a picture frame. I had completely forgotten about those two T-birds. They'll go well with the 58 & 62 in the stash.

Forgotten treasure! Another benefit I noticed and am happy about is all the music I like is now in the discount bin! (Yes, I still use a CD player! LOL)

The only advantage I've seen so far is a discount at the movies and trying to remember where I put the car keys.

When I was around 55 the restaurant the g/f and I go to frequently offered us the senior menu. It offended her so much that she refused to go back for years. Fortunately she's not taking herself too seriously anymore, but sheesh, 5 bucks or more off our meals, who'd not like that? It's a plus too, to put blame on my age when forgetting things. I like to use "hey, gimme a break, I'm old and feeble" It usually elicits a few chuckles.

Present day, the wife and I are still looking for the keys to a bank safe deposit box.  Again, she hid them well.  So, running my pinkies through all of the coats and jackets hanging in the hallway closet, I've run across lots of bills and loose change.  Tomorrow the sun is supposed to shine and mid 80's and blue sky.  We'll have a feast at a local outdoor terrace restaurant with a wonderful view over the Rhine.  Good wine too.

But where in the help are the keys?
