nitro norman Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Just saw this on Hobbylinc, coming late September. I don't remember much about this kit, hope it's good.
Fun_E_Car Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Bitchen!I tried forever to get this on evilbay, but was not going to pay what it was always going for. --Dave
iBorg Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Kit is not as good as the box art.....I used the body for this project. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I still have the body I was working on. If I do, I'd love to restart it. The body tin and the chassis is junk although the rear end is useable. The engine block has potential but the blower is rubbish. I'd suggest merging the kit with either a Revell or Monogram FC. Actually the Monogram is closer to accurate. The Revell kit chassis was pretty well dated by 1973.
Nova-ss Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 When did the Trojan horse run the circuits? I remember the wonder wagon,I still believe I remember seeing this kit..but not the years.the art work is great.......Chris
iBorg Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 The Trojan Horse that most remember was the '71 Mustang (the really dark candy blue one). This car came after and ran in the mid 70's after that car.
dragcarz Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Yes I agree, the earlier Black and purple Mustang was their best looking car. Here's some photos of what the kit is supposed to represent.
Chris in Berwyn Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I got an email from R2 about this kit today. It's due this month and has a revised headlight area, new front tires, improved decals and pad printed slicks. Wonder what slicks they'll be? The Kalitta FC has printed slicks but don't know if they'd fit under this body. As I recall the he roll cage on this model look d odd to me but if it is incorrect it won't matter to m as it'll b hidden even with the body up.
