Bill Eh?
A great eBay purchase. Bought on Wednesday and arrived today. Have some duplicates of the Mustangs, but that is quite alright! This is my second attempt. Sorry Harry, but would you please move this to "What did you get today" Thanks Edited August 19, 2016 by Bill Eh? Still in wrong location
Quick GMC
I love those Mustangs, I have the 7-11 one. I have been trying to find some turned wheels, or even photo etch wheel centers with no luck, they are odd sizes. i believe those Mustangs used 18" in the rear and 15" in front. Bill Eh?
With a black wash applied, the kit wheels don't look too bad.

Ben
Love those kits!!!! I bought some really nice, machined aluminum wheels with photo etch centers and machined alluminum knock off nut for the center, BBS wheels from Scale Production that would be great with those kits! Howard Cohen
I am working on the Camaro, Ron Fellows version, but the yellow decals are very poor, don't cover the blue paint and the fit is not good. I bought a second kit just for the decals. The kit does go together well, fit and finish are excellent as is the detail.
Bill Eh?
Howard, looking at the box top, I wonder if painting the yellow might be an option. That, however, would still leave the yellow "Sunocos" to deal with.
peter31a
I believe Slixx make (made?) decals for the Sunoco Camaro. Although the yellow is more fluorescent which I believe was correct for that car. MCW also had to paint for it as well.
Bill Eh?
Thanks Peter. Is Slixx still in existence? Need to look into MCW paint. After all it is a Fellows car.

That, however, would still leave the yellow "Sunocos" to deal with. I do have another kit, so I may do a second body, paint the yellow first, let it cure for a year (that seems to be the norm), then paint the blue, clear coat, then decals. It has been sitting for about 3 years now, so it must be a priority
peter31a
Bill, the website is still alive so I guess they are. The Sunoco Trans Am decal is no longer listed though.
rusty85
Killer haul! I've been trying to get my hands on the Motorcraft 4eye and the Roush aero nose Mustangs for ages now. I'll luck out on fleabay eventually.
