Site is loading topics slow

Is anyone other than me having issues with the site topics,replies,etc. running very slow to load...?  From my end its been very slow for some reason..?

No problem from where I sit Mark. I do know that since installing an Ad Blocker on my browser (Chrome), the site loads up much faster than before. Yeah, I know Gregg needs the ads to make money, but the way some of those ads bogs down the system, it became a real pain in the A$$!

So I had no choice but to run the Ad Blocker.............'jus sayin'...........

Every now and then I'll get a page or three that load  V  E  R  Y slowly, but it always clears up. I just figure it's some momentary browser or anti-virus issue.

Also occasionally, when I upload content, with pix from P-bucket, I'll get a very slow load as well. It eventually goes through though.

I'm having the same issues Mark. Some topics will stall my browser completely (Chrome). I have to refresh the screen to clear it up.

If you watch your browser to see what is loading when it slows down, it is almost always an ad site. It is the price we pay for a free forum.

It also looks like we're a little overdue for some database maintenance. I can do it this weekend. Expect to see the site down for about 15 minutes or so.
