Joe Handley Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Building this for one of my cubicle display models for work. Other than rolling stock, it'll be straight out of the box, other than rolling stock, front seats, and mirrors, then painted Lime Ice. The front bumper needs to come down, may have to drill a couple new holes where a front suspension should be.
Nova-ss Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Nice work Billy.its smoothed down some.sounds good on the bumpers.lime ice will look good....Chris
Joe Handley Posted August 29, 2016 Author Posted August 29, 2016 Thanks, I debadged it and had planned on stealing the filler cap from the Challenger kit that will be donating the mirrors and seats, but it happens to be molded to the kit body, so that won't be happening. Looks like my parting ways with the hobby shop I worked for might actually get me into building the kits I bought while working there!
Tom Geiger Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Looks like my parting ways with the hobby shop I worked for might actually get me into building the kits I bought while working there! I once worked in a sub shop. It was years before I could actually eat a sub again!
Joe Handley Posted August 29, 2016 Author Posted August 29, 2016 Lol, that's why it's a good thing I never tried to get a job with Portillo's out here, I'd either be even fatter than I already am by way too much, or just get sick of their food
gatorincebu Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 You have a good start on this one. I like your color choice. I have one of those kits , I plan to shave the door handles and trim moulding, And go with more old school wheels and tires. Be Well Gator
