Weathered 1971 Ford pick up

Hi folks!

I'm building this one as part of a future diorama with a trailer.

I done my body paint with the spay net and salt technique, a first for me.

Paint is Tamiya acrylic, i've done it two tone green color and i added the trailer Hitch from Scènes unlimited wich is very good!

I know, the wheels aren't finished yet, they look bizzarre at this point, but this project is coming along really fast... for me at least!!

Great looking weathering, very realistic looking. While hard to tell from the photos, the wheels look like what I would think some old rusted wheels might look like.

Here's a small update on my project.

I started to work on the engine bay, more will be necessary to achieve an accurate look, i will add some dust and oïl grime.

The same Salt technique was used to replicate rusted areas.

Here is a view with the Wheel hubcaps i chose, because i don't like the ones in the kit!

An finally a picture of the truck with a modern rendition of itself...(1997)

I will complete both of these for a model club project..(Green pick up...)
