70mach1 Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 This car was a real pain, body-wise. I had to glue the upper and lower body shells together, do the body work and paint, and then assemble it like a ship in a bottle. Everything was loaded through the back window and glued in place with water-soluable craft glue. Re-finished in BASF lacquers and DuPont urethane clear coat. Engine was wired and plumbed. By the time I got done with it, I turned it into a skill level 10.
Harry P. Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Pretty nice. Kit came with no wipers?I would add a black wash to the wheels to give them some detail and depth and take away some of that "plastic model" look.
bbowser Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Looks really good, the work you put in paid off!
donb Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Great looking e-type. You did a real nice job the car looks great.
Dann Tier Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 For such a pain in the arse kit, you did a fantastic job on it! -I think ALL the Jag kits of this, and the D-types were all equally a pain
