Years ago I joined the AMT Club or what ever they were calling it. They used to offer model reissues that you couldn't get in the store. I remember buying a couple of '64 Ford Galaxy hardtops and they had a very nice trailer/car hauler.

That was the Blueprinter deal. I got the AWB Mustang, parts parks, trailers, stuff that WASN'T re issues or offered until years later/ All at a reasonable cost. It was like having a private Round2!

I remember that Ken buddy...Those were the days of great kits in my opinion.  3 in 1s  optional building versions....bonus kits of mini bikes, motorcycles,go carts, boats, shop equipment, trailers, camper tops, scale figures..cool stuff.  The extra parts, etc. promotes one buying another kit to use them with as well.  Even my wife likes the little accessories herself....she has some in her shadow box she thought was neat.  Nice thing about those kits and all the extras is it gives one the chance to use their imagination with them on a build or two.

I don't think I ever got any kind of bonus goodie in a model car. I think I bought a couple of Matchbox 1/72 airplanes in the '80s that came with some military-type patches. Don't remember if they were authentic or not but I do remember they were kinda cheap, not like real patches at all. They might have been iron-on.
