Geno Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Wow, that turned out great. Very commendable work.
FordRodnKustom Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Very sharp build Bill with excellent detail and overall finish quality. I agree with your philosophy to build them. I recently retired and plan to build all of mine. No sense saving them for the next owner!
gtx6970 Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 Thanks all for the kind words. I really do appreciate it. Its probably one of my all time favorites. It just came out exactly like what i had in mind in the very beginning . I sent pictures of the car to the shop that owns the actual 1/1 its based off of and they want me to write some kind of article about it to showcase to there customers. I got a reply back this afternoon and it made my day.
Plastheniker Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Clean execution and a beautiful colour combination!
Mr Stock Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Beautiful work Bill, and goes to show how good those old annual kits can look with some patience and skill.Id be very proud of that one. Oh and Im another fan of building the oldies I have 20 odd vintage kits and they are all going to be built, Ive done 2 already.
W-409 Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 That's a really nice looking Edsel! Great to see one of these built, as I have a '59 Edsel HT builtup waiting to be rebuilt as a Mild Custom. Excellent work with this. Nice and smooth paint job and flawless work with BMF. Interior looks really inviting too...
