IMG_1602.thumb.JPG.63b81738e54c6f8ec5101Hi I've got a few standing and sitting figures from the original kit along with several guns, safe, Mail bag, crates with liquor bottles and violin cases.  Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the value and if it would be wise to sell individually or as a lot.   I know these are hard to find and not reissues.  Any help is much appreciated!  Chris

Chris, the woman driver figure came in the  Lincoln roadster kit along with a gangster as well. you have an array of fig's and goodie's from the various kit's from the  67-68 era. however, they really are not that hard to find, and keep in mind that the 28 Lincoln was reissued around the 97-98  mark, and that kit has 2 very nice male gangster's with optional arm's, as well as a ton of great equipment  like weapon's, booze bottle's and crate's, alky can's, and lot's more. that kit is online frequently,  and cheap too, I got a sealed one last summer for 13 bucks.....various other's were reissued  thru the year's without the GANGBUSTER box art as well, many still containing the figure's and equipment.....hope this help's you a bit, if you sell them online surely they will get snapped up simply because they are finished and have an array of goodie's as well............the Ace......B)

Those are really neat. Think of how that could compliment a model or diorama. If you just want to sell then EBay or a swap meet might be the best. As to what they are worth, that depends on what someone is willing to pay I guess.

So far, ONLY the Woman and other parts from the 27 Lincoln Roadster/Cabriolet have Not included in a re-issue

And the Chevy Cabriolet/Roadster Lost those parts in favor of Hop-Up/Hot-Rod parts

The Chrysler, and Lincoln Pheaton have included all the Gangbuster parts since the AMT Connisure Classics issues done but Ertl

Also at least the Lincoln Peaton was re-issued in the Gangbusters box are as part of the Buyer's Choice program

(or was that a regular issue just limited??)

The only thing was that the Chrysler kits did Not include the decals for the Jewelery case or Suitcase with Cash

All other parts were there, Standing and sitting figures, Safe, Guns, Hand Grenades, Knives, etc

Same with the Pheaton, Booze bottles, and cases for them, Violin case, Guns, etc

And, Yes, I have the Re-issues with the parts

A discussion of this subject should probably also include the factory stock Henderson (as near as I can determine) four cylinder motorcyle that only came in the second release of the MPC '32 Chrysler Roadster (the release with the brown/white bisected background box art with the c. 1966 -style MPC box art and the car illustrated in brown).....TIM

I loved those Gangbuster kits when I was a kid.  I currently have the '28 Lincoln phaeton reissue that came with the figures, weapons, booze, etc., and two of the '32 Chrysler convertibles, one of which is the 2nd release w/the motorcycle that Tim has mentioned.

I am hand lacing the wheels for the '28 Lincoln and it will be a tow vehicle for my Etzel's Miller 91.

I have 5 of the cars from the series

Or DID HAVE them

27 Lincoln Cabriolet/Roadster, 28 Lincoln Pheaton,

Both 32 Chrysler Cabriolet/Convertible/Roadster, & Pheaton

and the 32 Chevy

My Lincon Convertible/Roadster was an Early 70's MPC re-issue Connisure Classics having ONLY  the

Stock building option and Parts. (NO Gangbuster Parts)

This is also so far the only kit Not re-issued

For the most part the 2 Chrysler kits included teh SAME Gangster parts only differing in the body and interior parts

I hsd Both Gangbuster & Bloody Mama issues of the Pheaton/4dr

The Gangbuster issue was molded in black, Bloody Mama kit in White

Bloody Mama was a Movie tie in kit for Ma Barker's gang

YES the movie title was 'Bloody Mama'

That kit had the decals sheet with the Jewel case & Suitcase Cash

Tim, do you have a pic of that motorcycle or know where to find it?  I'm searching but don't see it.  I have a bag of vintage motorcycle parts in 1/25 or 1/24 scale and I'm trying to pair them with kits.  Thanks!

Thanks much for the info!  I believe these are the originals because they're so thick.  I've seen so many of these reissues that MPC and the rest of the companies sold out to China and they are horrific.  So thin I couldn't even trim without going right into the piece.  Again, thanks much!  Chris
