John Sears Roadrunner

This is a SMH resin 70 Roadrunner on a Polar lights Charger chassis. A lot of work was done to the rollbar to fit the earlier Roadrunner roofline better. Wheel wells were opened and reflared.Decals came from Dave Van wheels and tires are PPP.. I plan to redo the marker block offs so they don't look so clunky.

The story goes that Chrysler wanted its high impact colors on the race tracks but no one wanted the pink. So John said he would and Chrysler gave him the paint to use on his cars. He had at least 3 cars painted Panther Pink.

Fantastic looking!!! I've had the same decals for the last few years with the intentions of using the Revell 1/24 scale.. Glad you beat me to it!
