In the real-car world, many different types of supercharger can be adapted to use on many different types of engines.

It would help if we knew which particular kind of V6 engine you wanted a supercharger for, and whether your intended application is a street-driven car or something built only to race, or something in between.

Like Bill said. What "kind" of supercharger and what engine? If you are looking for a roots style blower all you need is an intake manifold for your V6. The blowers are all, basically, the same case. the intake manifold is what designates the application. The intake is easy to scratch build using the stock intake and some sheet plastic.

If the stock car had a carb or TBI just cut a piece of sheet plastic to fit the base of your supercharger and glue it onto the carb mounting surface.

The most obvious one would be the supercharged Ford 3.8L in the Revell Thunderbird SC kits, and some of their Cougars. A few of the Cougars came with the 302 V-8.

As far as non-Ford 3.8s, see above.

As for the Thunderbird SC V6. Here are two I built for a 32 Ford 5w project. The one the left has the supercharger and intercooler but turned out to be to big for the 32 so I built the other one with an intake setup from a 5 liter HO.v6a.thumb.jpg.91593a02988086780f2579dd23v6b.thumb.jpg.a739af01a107177a6aa3e8d936v6c.thumb.jpg.a66bcb42214c850d0342385a21v6d.thumb.jpg.a02da6a605134c6d8aa61f6528
