Ace-Garageguy Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Some designs of aircraft "blind rivets" (similar in appearance to common "pop rivets", but much higher strength) have a splined section on the pin that gets pulled through, snaps off, and is thrown away.
