I have a 56 ford pick up soaking in the pond due to silver paint puddling along the bottom of the truck.

Question: After taking the model out of the Purple Power, do you strain it to remove the old paint, or leave it in the container, as is, for the next time?

I usually leave the old paint bits to settle on the bottom. Then use an inexpensive colander to strain the fluid as I pour it back into the container.

In my experience, I've found that it loose its strength after stripping paint too.

My experience also,

A tip, if you have a Swiffer sweeper wet mop in your abode, the plastic refill container is perfect for the pond.

Just let it go.  It won't interfere with further stripping jobs.
