It's basically the same chassis as the Monaco or Polara kits that MPC put out in 65 and 66. So any full size chassis from that era Mopar kit would probably work.

Reviving an old thread, but curious on info. I just acquired one of these magnum gt 2 kits and was looking for options of a better detailed chassis?

That is the best chassis for the original car (fullsize mid-Sixties Mopar).  Way better than the Jo-Han chassis of that era.  If you aren't concerned about a "more detailed" chassis being from a similar car, then you could use anything that fits.

You could stretch an AMT 68 RoadRunner/69 GTX chassis to fit.  A friend did that for a 65 Fury and it worked pretty well.

Thank you fellas. I haven't decided which way to go, more of a speed record chaser or the single seat show car. I guess that decision will determine what frame I should slide underneath.
