I know I've seen a set at one time, however I don't remember if it was the above mentioned Slixx or Fred Cady. I know Fred did a lot of vintage drag decals. Model Empire in West Allis Wisconsin has some back stock of Fred's decals maybe a call or email may turn up something. I also beleive they have some older Slixx too but could be older NASCAR stuff

Thanks guys.  These are what I'm looking for.  I don't remember if they are Slixx or Fred Cady though.  I keep looking on e-bay for these.  Dan

........if I recall correctly, you need the same MPC sheet you used on your 'bird....Gooche ran those sheets but you will have to source one out as that ship has sailed. the other sheets made by Cady, and others, I think were for earlier Tin Indian cars......best I can remember, the Ace...^_^..oh, I'll look thru my decals, I may have a partial sheet.....

Ace, you may be right about the decals.  I do know that they are the same for the 68 GTO and I hope that they are the same for the 70.  I'm looking for the 68 GTO by MPC to do that car also.  Bill, I'll let ya know if I can find them.  Dan

I think it was fireball models that was planning to do the sheet for this car . I know it was somebody on this board maybe 2 or 3 years ago

For the 66 GTO's  I cheated and bought the  diecast set of 2 cars

I understand Bill.  I built both of the 66 cars.  The twins.  I remember seeing the champion car (66 GTO) in the showroom at Knafel Pontiac in Akron back in the day.  I used to deliver parts to the store.  I'll never forget that.  Dan

Fred Cady did some Tin Indian decals for the 66 GTO and the 67 Firebird, unable to recal if he did them for the 70 GTO

Edit: Whoopie Kat makes the Firebird decals.

Thanks Jesse, I'll check them out.  Dan

P.S.  I went to the Whoopie Kat site and I was able to order the decals for the 68 GTO that I will build of that car.
