cobramike Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 This model was truly a PIA to work on. seems that no matter what I did I had to reshape, clean, twist, bend, just about every part. The top is off mainly because it had such a bad twistin it along with the real glass that it was unusable. NEVER DOING ONE OF THESE AGAIN.only reason I did finish it was that my wife gave it to me for xmas 2 years back.
cobramike Posted February 1, 2017 Author Posted February 1, 2017 sorry for the blurring, low light and Samsung don't like each other apparently! actually it looks better slightly blurred!!!
cobramike Posted February 1, 2017 Author Posted February 1, 2017 looks pretty good to me.Thanks for the friendly remark. after working on the model I needed that

geetee66 Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Looks like you made a nice silk purse from all your hard work!well done with wrestling it to glory!
espo Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Considering all the problems you had with the kit the final product looks very nice. This looks like one of the old screw on chassis from years ago.
Sledsel Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Looks good. Musta got a bad one. I have a few and went together smooth as silk

Wierd stuff in the box...trophys, plastic I assume was for spatula, etc. lots of stuff not necessary.
Lunajammer Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Nice of you to do that out of respect for your wife. I'm sure she's pleased with it because it turned out pretty nice.
