Scalper Posted November 16, 2017 Author Posted November 16, 2017 Completed one side of the window trim. Just have to figure out how to to do bottom window trim
kelson Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Monograms kits in the 80's seem to lack that,I usually use Evergreen scale models strips .015x.030,it works perfect but since you have painted your car it may be hard to do without messing the paint.
Scalper Posted November 17, 2017 Author Posted November 17, 2017 80's monogram kits are my guilty pleasure
Pontiacfieroguy Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Looks pretty good, as you can probably tell by my name I'm a fiero fanatic and have owned half a dozen real ones and I would happily drive the one you built.P.s. if anyone has an extra fiero kit laying around they would like to trade off let me know.
Scalper Posted March 7, 2018 Author Posted March 7, 2018 (edited) It's been a few months since I've been at the bench. All window trim is done. Time to work on the side trim. good to be back Edited March 7, 2018 by Scalper Ggh
espo Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 I had forgotten about this little beauty, Nice to see that you're going to finish it.
Foxer Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 That black trim looks razor sharp .. nice job masking! I just had a masking trim nightmare on a '92 Crown Vic that I refused to even take a photo of ...

All free hand with the outer trim traced with a fine black ink pen. Then I paint between the lines. Try it on your crown Vic. Might save you the hassle

I used to draw a mean line with paint, my Dad always made me do the window trim on the house. My hand isn't as steady any more, thou erheh
Dann Tier Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 Love that paint!!!.....its looking good!!....glad to see you back!!!
Johnt671 Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Nice to see progress on this. I have a Fiero that I've owned for 23 years now. It's a mild custom and has over 235,000 miles on it. I started building a model that will come very close to mine but set it aside a while ago. I just found wheels that are very close to mine and plan to restart it in a couple of months. Good luck with yours, it's looking great.
Scalper Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 This poor thing was tossed back in its box because I was not happy with the trim. Well I have putty drying on my tank barrel. so lucky fiero got pulled back out. Here how she sits now
chris chabre Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 My aunt and Uncle both had Fieros after my uncle got tired of MGBs. His was a bright yellow 87 non GT, hers was a White 88 GT. Surprisingly fun little cars after he scienced out the suspension.
Scalper Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 Little updates. Painted the front dam and bottom side trim. and oh BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. Hope I still have some of this paint left.
steveracer Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 Hope you can find the paint and finish this little gem up and display it!
