Scalper Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Just completed this one now. This one was a battle that's why it's called survivor. Was on my bench way to long. Issues with the glass bumpers paint wheels Ect. So imagine 1969 olds with the 442 package. Badge delete. Low miles just sat out for a bit to long.

Scalper Posted February 14, 2017 Author Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) thanks for looking. My first try at some body weathering. All comments welcomed. Edited February 14, 2017 by Scalper
Curt Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Very nice, Andre! The rust around the window trim is very realistic and you resisted any urge to overdo it.
disabled modeler Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 I like it Andre...looks good to me...I have a ton of stuff to learn about weathering.
Scalper Posted February 14, 2017 Author Posted February 14, 2017 Thanks guys. The only reason why added the rust was because the BMF took some of the paint off.
espo Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Good save on the paint. The light weathering looks like a 4 or 5 year old car that hasn't even seen a car port. Some times less is more.
bbowser Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Thanks guys. The only reason why added the rust was because the BMF took some of the paint off. When life hands you lemons..... Nice work!
Scalper Posted February 15, 2017 Author Posted February 15, 2017 Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback
Jim N Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Excellent work! The weathering is very subtle, which in my opinion, adds to the realism.
tbill Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 what he said^^ that little bit of weathering really makes this build.
Scalper Posted February 18, 2017 Author Posted February 18, 2017 Thanks guys I appreciate the comments.
