Vince Nemanic Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 What parts have been restored to the 57 Ford? I don't see the Styleline nose or tail.
Brett Barrow Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 What parts have been restored to the 57 Ford? I don't see the Styleline nose or tail. No, they didn't go the full-Styline treatment. Looks like the small chrome tree are the recreated parts - bumperettes, shifter, dog-dish hubcaps. The rest were just opened up on the runners, not sure what's what I don't know the older issues that well.

Brett Barrow Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Brett, could you please open up the Ford and show us some photos of the parts trees?I'll try. I wasn't going to buy one for myself and I don't want to open up a kit from stock but we are planning on starting up a series of in depth in-box reviews when the boss gets back from vacation next week. I'll suggest this one as a good choice.
Brett Barrow Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I needed to open one up for a customer, here are some quick shots I took while I had it open. Hope to get some better pics in the future.Album http://imgur.com/a/oW24F
stavanzer Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Now if Round2 would have just given us the Streetle Beatle Hood, the chrome looks like it is still on the Chrome tree.It could have been a 2'n'1 kit.Drat. I'll have to get one of each.
ChrisBcritter Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Thanks Brett! Sure enough, an unchromed chrome tree, 2/3 of the trophy and 1/2 of the TV set. Plus a bit more flash than I expected.
Jon Cole Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Why are there 2 sets of steel wheels?Options! Remember, this can also be built as an exposed floorpan dune buggy. Which I think would look great with the steel wheel/ baby moon caps.
