q about 99 chevy conversion

anybody here ever convert a 99 Silverado extended cad, short box into regular cab, long box...im part way in...got cab covered but not sure about bed(because it tapers front to back)/

The easiest way would be to use pieces from another bed, and reinforce the sidewalls from the back side. You will need to add approximately 9/16" ahead of the rear wheels, and 1/4" behind the rear wheels.
