  1. Thanks for replying. I actually want one with the clear body not the red clear
  2. Are any of y'all familiar with Mr Norm's ghost charger funny car kit? I have a guy trying to sell me one for a large sum of money as he says it's very rare because the body is molded and clear red. I've only seen those with the body in plain clear. Anybody know if they actually made any molding and clear red?
  3. When I attempted to reply to my last personal message I got a message saying that all of my messenger space was used up. How do I free up messenger space? When I click on the three lines in the upper right corner I do not see anything at all concerning messages.

  9. just got this kit. seller listed it as a chrysler 300 but is says new yorker on sides. its a johan-has 1960 on molded in license plate. google didnt have anything for a 60 new yorker or 300 model kit. any info appreciated. would glass from 60 desoto fit?
  10. all the above plus if its been painted i soak them in easyoff overnite, this does nothing to the glue but CAN cause parts to separate that were painted before gluing.
  11. anybody know if the recent issue of 64 wildcat has the custom parts that were in the amt customizing issue?
  12. over the years ive found this site to be the best, no snobbiness, genuine appreciation of others work and seems guys here are always willing to help out with parts, etc. ive both given n received stuff for free here.
  13. facebook...im selling all my builts except for a few and all my unbuilts except for about 30
  14. as i live in the bootheel of missouri i have very little contact with modelers in person and have never entered any models in anything other than a local walmart contest 40 years ago so its mainly thru the internet. today i sold a built model of al vanderwoude's flying dutchman funny car to his son don. this is very gratifying to me as ive never had a model accepted by one of the magazines and dont enter contests. i guess im tootin my own horn but i dont want this post to be viewed as such; rather just a guy in the middle of nowhere sharing a positive moment in his modeling life.

  18. nothing really great, the superstang is i think a drag only chopped 66 mustang. was first kit i built back in 1971. i have a built one to redo but its driving me nuts about the "kit carson or garrison" driver
  19. u r correct-i had to go check my dcals again-brain getting old, any idea about what kit had his brother KIT?
  20. the superstang amt mustang kit had DECALS FOR A FICTIONAL DRIVER NAMED JIMMY CARSON. im remembering another kit that had decals for his fictional brother named kit carson but cant remember what kit it was. they were both available around 1971. any info much appreciated
  21. 1 for the black edges around windshields i use a wide sharpie...if u mess up 90% alcohol will remove sharpie. i actually use 70% hand sanitizer cause its in gel form n easier to control. 2 for the tint at top of windshield if u can find a wide blue sharpie it works great.
  22. hello bill, how can i see your products u have for sale? thanks, jeff
  23. as i understand it the kts on clearance now was because the mfg notified hl that these kits were gonna be discontinued. the shelf reset is something hl does periodically and then they will put on clearance items that they dont intend to have after the shelves are reset. it probably means that the shelf space dedicated to models/paint/supplies will get smaller.
