  1. they are all fairly cheap except the superbird-the plastic kits-some of the resins are of course more expensive
  2. unfortunately I don't have any 1/16 kits. its not to hard to adjust size if you have Microsoft office as long as you have a 1/25 kit to get some measurements from. ive made a few decals by finding side, top, front and back images of vehicle on the internet, then putting them into office then adjusting the image size until its 1/25 then, by using images I find on the net to create original decals. if you search for CAN DO WRECKER in truck workbench section I posted decals I made for that truck. ill take a shot at attempting this for the 1/16 stuff if yall don't have office but can post a scan and can provide some measurements from a 1/25 kit.
  3. thank you sir...I have a scanner if theres decals you could use a scan of just let me know
  4. that's totally ok and thank you again
  5. the only kit I still have that built with the halved slicks is the troublemaker funny car...I used superglue on them about 20 years ago and they are still ok, however this does entail a little filling and sanding then painting the tread area. also if you google glue for plastic gas tanks you will find some products that will work also but in my experience with them some worked and some did not. the only one that worked great was very expensive-sadly I don't remember the name-about 12 bucks for a tiny bottle... about 60 for enough to repair a gas tank...I found it on ebay and I THINK its also available through napa. you can also use aftermarket tires which will look much better.NOT TO DISPUTE OTHER POSTERS-THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCES.
  6. just read on another forum that ATLANTIS MODELS have bought some of revells tooling...
  7. looking for pics of a black el camino with a spiderman themed paint job...that was at du quoin in 88
  8. that would be great...thanks my email is jeffcardinalfan@yahoo.com
  9. I miss the variety and the ability to change appearance/performance to make "my" car unique. in the tiny town I grew up in-pop 1492- in the 70's the town had the following: 62 chevy II jacked way up in rear with gas tank painted in red, white and blue stripes 71 ls6 chevelle with cragar super tricks 70ish tbird with chrome rims n 4 doors 65 mustang coupe w/cragars 66 Shelby mustang-guy STILL has it 68 coronet with high rise intake/dual carbs and no second gear 60 chevy 2 door belair w/cragars 66 289 stang jacked up and the widest cheater slicks available pinto with a 460 shoehorned into it 69 buick skylark customized 65 chevy truck 67 camaro 2 67 impalas 62 convertible impala 70 gto numerous 70s short bed trucks-all 3 makes-with rims, headers, exhaust cutouts my 67 cutlass drop top n one of the ta's 76 lt camaro 70 cuda 69 corvair 73 trans am w/455 n powerglide numerous late z-28s and trans ams 2 65 red/white ford trucks 27 steel bodied t bucket w/454 n high rise w/2 big holleys we all had jobs and we all worked on them to the extent of our ability and we drove them in the rain. we had a shell statio that offered high octane gas but we ran lots of aviation gas-a couple of farmers owned airplanes for crop dusting so though illegal it could be had now I own an 07 triple black vet convertible w/16k, borla exhaust, k n n filter, a little massaging of the software but theres not much I can do under the hood...its very easy to drive, col ac, probably faster than all the above cars, better made but there was just something bout that ta with the 455 that spoke to my soul. I also have a 40 chevy pu rat rod on a tube frame with a bored 40 over 350, aftermarket heads, etc...worn out rear shocks, a mixture of 40 chevy/70s front suspension, no ac or heat and its way more fun to drive than the vet unless im playing with mustangs...he he the cars/trucks today are what the people want...the majority like the tech doodads and don't care at all how fast their car goes. if I win the lottery im buying a hemi superbird at barrett-jackson and ROASTING the tires in the parking lot, then driving it back to Missouri and will smile every time I pass a new plastic cookie cutter car.
  10. any chance that you would part with the decals??

  13. is there a kit available for this cab/chassis? would it be incorrect if a pump unit was used on the dodge tilt cab?
  14. believe it or not we had a hot donna next door and THREE hot donna sisters across the street-unfortunately NONE of them gave us the slightest bit of attention...the hottest one now lives in the next door house with her lady friend and her mom lives in my old house
  15. I also was eric who turned into red...our group had a kelso and wse even had a kid named hyde with curly hair
  16. ive not liked any foose car until this one...would still choose ian rousel to build my dream car if I had the bucks. foose's impostor is great though.

  21. please keep us posted on the green goblin...I love stuff like this...have plans to someday build the tbird pictured above and there is a photoshop of an Avanti with 2 rear axles and cab-forward floating around the net...
  22. I live 90 miles north of Memphis, 150 miles south of st Louis close to I55...3hrs from little rock...45 minutes from dyersberg, tn...looking for events within reasonable driving distance...the only one I know about is the one in Kirkwood, mo
  23. im considering on attending the event oct 6 in Kirkwood Missouri...its a 3 hr drive...I would like to sell a bunch of kits...just looking for general info on how kits sell at these type events...years ago when I lived much closer I attended this event and it seemed to me that kits sold for a little less than on ebay..any info or thoughts much appreciated.
  24. thanks...its the slant 6 from deora kit with potvin blower and sprint car carbs...not sure if the intake/exhaust manifold or the crank driven water pump would actually work...obvious flaws are the door hinges are way to big and the steering link glue dried before I could get it in proper place but it was a blast to build
