This has been a real labor of love. This has been a three year project. The kit is by Starter and is built box stock. The first sheet of decals exploded in the water. I looked for a year until I found a set on Ebay.  Then after sitting I miss placed the interior . I found it in another kit. Then just forgot I had the kit in my stash until finding it on Friday afternoon. With Memorial Day just passed I thought it was fitting. My hats off to all you vets out there. Cheers!

With 131 views, (at this time), I wonder if everyone realizes how small this kit is and how hard it is, IMHO, to make it look as nice as yours does.  Nice work on the subtle weathering.  Very nice!

Great work on this , looks great , I have built a few of these 1/43 Starter kits and still have about 30 still to do ( mainly Nascar ) so I know how difficult they can be at times . Don't know if this will help but I have found that if I pin the decal sheets down and spray them with Testors Decal Bonder ( 9200 ) that this can help to hold them together , because you are putting a coating film on the decals you then have to trim close to the decals .

Silver Foxx thanks for the tip on the decals. I have a few more. I'm gonna try it. Be on the look out for a 911.
