landman
More work on the engine. Added details to the fuel injection pump I had cut off the DAF. Turned some pulleys. Turned the water manifold on its side, added a flange and a top plate. It will support the intercooler. Added detail to the bottom front cover. landman
Worked a bit on those airlines. Looks like the engine can fit using the donor frame's rear motor mount and rad. the front crossmember will need a relocation to the rear and up. My wife found these colors in her stash. the second one might be close. Edited December 7, 2020 by landman

landman
Took another approach to opening up the grille. Similar to a technique used in woodworking to make mortises, I drilled overlapping holes to open up a slot for the files. Then I GINGERLY file off the rest careful not to eat into the very flimsy frames. Edited December 9, 2020 by landman
landman
Still drillin' and filin' and sandin', until my hands cramped up. then went to the Big Al. Split the DAF's turbo and rotated so it could accept a pipe from above. Made the pipe from the intercooler with solder. JUNK-MAN
It is either an oil cooler or maybe an oil pump. The craftsmanship though is just amazing I cannot wait to see her done. If it was already discussed I'm sorry but have you decided on a body color yet?
