Award winners!

I'd entered these in a local show here in Saskatoon, didn't really think I'd get anywhere with them, just entered for the fun of it (each of my kids also entered, and each won a medal! They're pretty stoaked about it!). The show was a while back (the beginning of May), and I just picked up the awards the other day. It wasn't the clubs fault, they were expecting around 100 entries I guess, and got over three hundred! A little overwhelming for them! I won Best Overall Automotive (the barn find Daytona) and Best Factory Stock (blue Charger). Very surprising considering how many other fantastic builds were there! Man I've got to get a real camera, iPhones don't quite cut it.....

Being an event that ends in con, it must have been an IPMS deal..They have different rules and judging systems than most model clubs/shows.  Congratulations on your and your kids awards..Nice stuff by the looks of the pictures..

Thank you! I went outside my comfort zone with the Daytona, and learned a lot! Already planning a Roadrunner and Dodge L700 to rust up for next year.
