Hi,

So I built up the car using Micro Liquitape.  I am preferring this method as it helps me achieve a better work flow.  I simply don't have enough experience to anticipate anything during the build process.

Building it up and tearing it down to do a final assembly seems to work really well for me.

She is totally built up and am contemplating how to pull off a race version.

But man, what an ugly car, wondering what possessed me to get it.

PS Will do an alcohol bath on her over the weekend for tear down.

Cool!  I'll be watching this.

Hi,

It looks like I may have to rework the suspension a little and add small flares to make those killer OZ wheels fit.

Man I love MicroScale Liquitape.  I didn't at first as it stays tacky but that's the awesome part about it.  One can fiddle with part fit as it looks to never really dry.

Hi,

It may not seem like it, but I did a ton of work on the body and suspension.

The front fenders are 1mm wider and the rears are 2mm wider.  I lowered it about 1.5mm and brought in the front track by 1.5mm.

The new wheel offsets threw things off, plus the stock front track seemed wider then the rear so that the kit can turn its wheels.

Hence all the work.

I may leave the top open or extend the wind shield as 1 large piece all the way to the rear.

I enlarged the rear wing by ~50% and will install PE wing tips.

PS I'm particular about stance so I barely tucked in the wheels just enough.

PSS The stock wheels/tires on this kit are absolutely HORRID!

Look and stance look good. Make sure all of the Liquitape is removed before painting, It can be hard to remove sometimes. I try to stick to alcahol to remove it.

Hi and thank you sirs.

I did soak it in alcohol for a few days as that stuff is gooey.  Kinda like a big fresh booger, kinda gross actually.
