f1ford48 Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 nice work on the stock Flathead. i like the spiral hoses and clamps especially.
espo Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Great looking stock Ford. Did you hinge the hood sides or are they permanently in the up position ??
PARTSMARTY Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 You really nailed this one Lee.One of my favorite builds from you.!!!-congrats.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Very nicely done, and a perfect tribute to a great car. Uncle Henry would be proud.
DeeCee Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 A very nice clean original looking build Lee, a real winner mate.
Classicgas Posted August 30, 2017 Author Posted August 30, 2017 Thanks! The hood is glued in the open position.
Eric Macleod Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Very nicely done. I too like all your under-the-hood details. I like t hem stock as well. It's hard to improve on the lines Ford drew themselves.
peekay Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 That's two very nicely built stock 34s in a week!
Plastheniker Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Perfect! I love the (drybrushed?) chassis.
Classicgas Posted August 30, 2017 Author Posted August 30, 2017 Thanks. I dry brushed it in a manner of speaking, I took my finger, rubbed some Testors aluminum metalizer spray on i a note card, then rubbed my finger on that and rubbed my finger on the chassis. A qtip would work too.
CometMan Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Haven't seen one of those in a while, especially not stock. Well done!
