Johnt671 Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 (edited) Just started. I'm planning on using a Caddy motor in it. I really wanted to use the wide white wall decals that came with the kit bu that didn't work out for me. It will be Testors dark blue outside with the lighter blue inside along with some white in the interior ( maybe ) to brighten it up a little. Edited September 22, 2017 by Johnt671
mod3l Lover Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I think the Caddy motor is a goodidea for sure. And giving me the392 Hemi would also be a goodidea!?! LOL!!! I too will be following this build! David S.
Johnt671 Posted September 1, 2017 Author Posted September 1, 2017 Some progress. Mod3l Lover, I'll sent you a PM later. I had another one of this kit so I used the white walls from that kit.
vwdave92 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 That engine is super cool when finished. 6 cars with individual velocity stacks. I used it a LONG time ago in a 60 something caddy and would definitely use it again.
Johnt671 Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 A little touch up and the motor goes in. I finally stopped raining so I got to do more painting. Some on the body ind the bigger interior parts so I can start on that.
Johnt671 Posted September 9, 2017 Author Posted September 9, 2017 It stopped raining for awhile so I got paint on the body, and the flame decal on the body also. Chassis is pretty much done.
