Draggon Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 All of those are great Bob, but I'm partial to the Son of Ford. It seems to be the rarest of the bunch. Great job....and I'm a bit jealous
TooOld Posted October 25, 2017 Author Posted October 25, 2017 All of those are great Bob, but I'm partial to the Son of Ford. It seems to be the rarest of the bunch. Great job....and I'm a bit jealous Thanks Glenn ! The Son Of Ford does seem to be the rarest of the bunch . I'm glad I didn't have to hunt them all down and buy them today , I'd be way over my annual budget !
Greg Myers Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Revelogram couldn't do to bad repopping these old kits in their original form much the same way Round2 is doing with their old AMT iconic kits.

TooOld Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 Revelogram couldn't do to bad repopping these old kits in their original form much the same way Round2 is doing with their old AMT iconic kits.Don't hold your breath . The Blue Bandito was a bust and the specific parts for the Deuce and the T are loooong gone .

Greg Myers Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 (edited) Revelogram couldn't do to bad repopping these old kits in their original form much the same way Round2 is doing with their old AMT iconic kits. As I get older (70 ) I am finding the older. smaller parts count. kits more to my liking. Right now I'm really getting into the original release AMT kits with a great interchangeable engine option. Not sure they planed it that way, but most of the engines in those old kits interchange perfectly. Open the gates, let the plastic flow. Edited October 28, 2017 by Greg Myers
Dave Darby Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 These would make a dandy Faux-vivor Friday post on the Scale Survivor Facebook page. Waaaaay Cool!

Dave Darby Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Don't hold your breath . The Blue Bandito was a bust and the specific parts for the Deuce and the T are loooong gone . Blue Bandito definitely was a flash in the pan. I bought 5 of them. Used parts from one to make this.... Paint is Testers Flame Red Lacquer and Tamiya Flat Tan. Next one (Sold this s one in a pinch on eBay) will have wheel spinners from the Predicta.
