HomerS Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 My oldest completed his sophomore year at an accredited university but to complete his Associate Degree and move onto a school that offers a Bachelors Degree in IT, he needs to get a co-op job. The school has been of ZERO help and nothing has panned out on his own. He's applied through Monster and Careerbuilder but gotten nothing. He is basically held hostage until he completes that last requirement Anyone have a suggestion?
espo Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Your son may want to check with any Co-Ops in the area that may be hiring, even if it's just a basic job to get on the inside to see just how a Co-Op operates in the real world. Classroom and theory are great but that isn't real world.
JollySipper Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 You say he's learning IT? How about if Mr. Ambrose could take him under his wing, let him learn the forum software.......... That would be completely up to Dave, of course......

That would be completely up to Dave, of course......There's a bunch of stuff he could do, even beyond the forums. What was his classwork like, and what requirements would we need to fill?
