vamach1 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Nice to see an older and to find and expensive kt built. Nice job.
vamach1 Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 (edited) Hard to tell if both are the same car due to the shade of yellow and that one appears to be missing the snake emblem. Edited November 21, 2017 by vamach1 222
Can-Con Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Hard to tell if both are original. There are subtle differences. The original all metal car was updated several times. Hot Rod Magazine also built 6 or 7 with fiberglass flares and spoilers for a give-away contest. They also sold some fiberglass kits so the one in the pics probably isn't the original all-steel one. Remember, 18 inch wheels wern't even a thing back in the '70s when the car was originally built. Those pics are more recent. Another earlier repaint, I'd LOVE to get another crack at that kit. Built an original when I was about 12 or 13.
vamach1 Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 That last picture reminds me of the Mad Max police car.
