Muncie Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 (edited) some history and great model building reference photos in the auction listing - https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0118-312675/1965-dodge-hemi-coronet-afx/ Edited November 29, 2017 by Muncie
Nytrozilla Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 In 1969, my first car was a 1959 Dodge Coronet. It too had a push button transmission. I couldn't decide whether to stare in awe or laugh out loud. So I did both. In that order.
1972coronet Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Note its two different tail lamp bezels : one is the more-common version , with the back-up lamp . The other is an early -- prior to January 1965 -- sample , as there's no back-up lamp provision .
iBorg Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 To see some great detail shots of this car go to: https://www.mecum.com/auctions/kissimmee-2018/collections/nick-smith-collection/
gtx6970 Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Nice collection. I wonder why guys spend years to build such a collection. Then sell off a vast majority one assembled. I don' think he has owned the landy or gas Ronda car all that long.
