And the Tamiya is a WRC version

There is quite a difference between them. So which one more closely resemble the 1:1 car?  Tamiya seems to have finer looking engraving, but that doesn't' guarantee accuracy.

What is going on with the window trim on the Fujimi kit in the 6th picture...it's got all kinds of shapes and bumps that don't look like they should be there.

A bit of an apples and oranges comparison. The Tamiya kit is a WRC race car so it has massively exaggrated fender flares, and a non stock rear bumper amongst other changes. 

As for the Fujimi side profile, for some reason they decided to mold those smoked plastic rain gutter guards onto the body.
