cowboy rich Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Nice sunset. How close are the fires to you?

Hi, They blew over me during the past weekend and are on there way North to Santa Barbara. It's been a while since there were big fires here in the area which means there is plenty of fuel. Once it's said and done, I'd count on anther 10+ years of lesser fires.

426 pack Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Wow. Last year we had fires all around us up in northern BC Canada. We were on an evacuation notice and it was raining ashes on our yard. It was around the same time as the fort Mack fires. All the pics are from different fires and that wasint evan all of them.
iamsuperdan Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Drove through some southern BC fires last summer. Crazy stuff, and not nearly as photogenic as the sunset above! ROlling road closures, water bombers and helicopters picking up water right next to the road, ash raining down on the truck. And there's no way we could have turned our rig around if the fire shifted.
