curt raitz Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 (edited) Just finished a model of the 1958 Ford Convertible Curtis Turner drove in the NASCAR Convertible Racing Series. Body is resin from Star Models, used the 1957 chassis, engine, driveline, interior, wheels and tires from the Revell "Fireball" Roberts '57 Ford kit #85-4024. Paint is Tamiya TS-14 Black, decals are from my buddy Steve. After the NNL West, this model will be placed in the Curtis Turner display at the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke, Virginia Thanx for lookin'... Edited December 31, 2017 by curt raitz
shoopdog Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Turned out great. Never new they raced convertibles...nice, racing with the top down, wind on your head, sun in your face, doesn't get any better than that.
