VW93
Wanted to find out how satisfied you are with you Fotki account. Any advantages of the Premium versus free account. I'll probably only be loading about 500 to 800 pictures Can you do sub folders with a free account Thanks
High octane
I paid a small fee for my account and it is working out very well. And yes you can do sub-folders also which is a big help instead of lookin' through hundreds of pics to find the one you're lookin' for. I had a paid Photobucket account, however near the end it would work whenever it felt like it. I'm now rid of them.

Took forever to load and "lost" pictures I loaded.
bugman9317
I have been using their paid account for a while with no problems. Some people have told me that they copy the link when they post into the forum, but what I do is open the image in Fotki, right click and select copy and then go into your post, right click and hit paste. peekay
I switched from Photobucket to a paid Fotki account ($60 for 3 years) last August and it's been a trouble-free ride ever since. But if they ever pull the same trick Photobucket did I'll abandon them like a shot.
LDO
I've had a paid Fotki account for 16 years. Never had a problem. Free (limited) accounts are for the birds. It's not cool to read a how-to article with pics, when the pics have been substituted with things the poster grew in their garden.
VW93
Thanks everyone for your input. The paid account seems the way to go.
StevenGuthmiller
The only thing that you need to "know" about Fotki is that it makes Photo bucket look like a big ol' booger!! No comparison in my opinion! Steve
Scott Colmer
Fotki good.
Tom Geiger
I lost track of how long I've been with Fotki, let's just say forever. I have both my own account and the NNL East account, never a problem The site is privately owned and I don't think the owners are going anywhere.
