Hallo

The taillights are in place.

What do you say to the Bluedot? Reddot? above the taillights!

Made from aluminium Round Ø2mm with clear red resin glas insert.

The Custom Royal Knight Decals is also in place.

Greatings Michael

Amazing detail on your build. The Blue Dot tail lights are sort of a small custom touch that is not seen so much anymore and some states have even outlawed them because they can. If your wanting to stay close to stock I think your perfect as is.

That "dot" above the taillights is a reflector. "Blue dots" are a small round blue lens in the center of the taillight. When they are lit they have a slight purplish glow. This is why some states (if not all states or the feds) outlawed them. (I think the hot rodders/customizers are given a pass nowadays as this isn't considered a fad but nostalgia, but that's just a guess )

I don't know if this was the intent, but blue dots actually make a car safer.  The old tail lights are not bright at all, and the dot increases the intensity and brightness.  I've seen it on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, where you can come up quick on a 1930s Ford that is traveling slowly because you can hardly see the tail light.  But the blue dot ones stand out.

I would have to agree. I know that I hadn't seen any since the '60s until attending the Good Guys shows in the last few years. They were quite noticeable & impressive when lit, especially when the brake lights came on. I too have come up too quickly on old vehicles at night, and was always concerned that I could be rear-ended when driving mine. I acquired a '58 Dodge pickup (at the last GG show in Des Moines) and after this discussion I think I will be hunting down some blue dots for it! (I will also have to look into the laws regarding them)
